Terms of Service

Service Name: Salatju Provider: Salatju Team Effective Date: November 8, 2025


Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service ("Terms") set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Salatju Team ("Company") and users regarding the use of the Salatju application ("Service").


Article 2 (Definitions)

1. "Service" means the Salatju mobile application and related services provided by the Company. 2. "User" means any person who uses the Service in accordance with these Terms. 3. "Compatibility Calculation" means the analysis service of two people's birth date and time information based on traditional Four Pillars (Saju) theory. 4. "Premium Subscription" means unlimited access and additional features provided through paid subscription.


Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)

1. These Terms apply to all users who wish to use the Service. 2. The Company may amend these Terms as necessary without violating applicable laws. 3. When the Terms are amended, the Company will notify users at least 7 days prior to the effective date. 4. If a user does not agree to the amended Terms, they may discontinue use and withdraw from the Service.


Article 4 (Provision of Service)

4.1 Services Provided

The Company provides the following services:

1. Four Pillars Compatibility Calculation - Birth date and time input - Five Elements Balance, Ten Gods Harmony, Clash/Combination analysis, Yonghee Heuristic - Overall compatibility score calculation

2. Celebrity Comparison - Compatibility comparison with celebrity database - Category-based search and filtering

3. History Management - Auto-save calculation results - Favorites and sorting features

4. Premium Features (with subscription) - Unlimited compatibility calculations - Unlimited celebrity comparisons - Full history access - Detailed analysis reports - Image save and share - Ad-free experience

4.2 Free Service Limitations

Free service has the following limitations:


Article 5 (Service Interruption)

1. The Company may temporarily suspend Service provision in the following cases: - System maintenance, replacement, failure, communication disruption - Natural disasters, national emergencies, or other force majeure events - Other cases where normal Service provision is impossible

2. The Company will notify users in advance of Service interruptions, or notify afterward if unavoidable.


Article 6 (User Obligations)

1. Users shall not engage in the following acts: - Unauthorized use of others' personal information - Use of Service for unlawful purposes - Reverse engineering or decompiling the application - Infringement of the Company's intellectual property rights - Acts violating laws or public morals

2. Users must comply with these Terms and applicable laws.


Article 7 (Premium Subscription)

7.1 Subscription Plans

1. Monthly: ₩4,900/month 2. Quarterly: ₩12,900/quarter (12% discount) 3. Yearly: ₩39,900/year (32% discount)

7.2 Payment and Renewal

1. All subscription payments are processed through Apple App Store. 2. Subscriptions automatically renew and expire at the end of the current period if canceled. 3. Subscriptions can be canceled in Apple Account settings.

7.3 Refund Policy

1. Refunds follow the Apple App Store refund policy. 2. Due to the nature of subscription services, partial refunds for usage are not provided.


Article 8 (Content Copyright)

1. Copyright of all content provided by the Company (text, images, algorithms, etc.) belongs to the Company. 2. Users may not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, or broadcast information obtained through the Service without prior consent from the Company.


Article 9 (Disclaimer)

9.1 Nature of Service

1. This Service is a compatibility analysis service for entertainment purposes based on traditional Four Pillars theory. 2. Service results are for reference only and are not absolute criteria for actual relationship formation.

9.2 Company Disclaimer

The Company is not liable for:

1. Service unavailability due to natural disasters or force majeure 2. Service disruptions due to user fault 3. Damages resulting from user reliance on information obtained through the Service 4. Issues caused by third parties (Apple Inc., etc.) 5. Disputes between users or between users and third parties


Article 10 (Privacy Protection)

The Company strives to protect users' personal information in accordance with applicable laws. A separate Privacy Policy applies to the protection and use of personal information.

Article 11 (Damages)

1. The Company is not liable for damages related to Service use unless there is intent or gross negligence. 2. If the Company's liability is recognized, compensation shall not exceed the Service fees paid by the user in the most recent 3 months.


Article 12 (Dispute Resolution)

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.

12.2 Jurisdiction

In case of disputes between the Company and users regarding Service use, both parties shall make good faith efforts to resolve them through consultation. If consultation fails, a lawsuit may be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.


Article 13 (Notices)

1. When the Company notifies users, it will do so via in-app announcements or registered email. 2. For notices to unspecified multiple users, the Company may substitute individual notice with in-app announcements.


Article 14 (Miscellaneous)

1. Matters not specified in these Terms shall follow applicable laws and customary practices. 2. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain valid.
